Kurdistan/Iran; young Kurdish kolbar was deliberately shot and killed by iranian armed forces

In the early hours of Sunday, May 25, 2025, Mohammad Rahimi, a young Kurdish kolbar and son of Ghafour, from the city of Banawrah in Paweh County, lost his life after being shot by government around forces at the Nowsud border.

According to a reliable source, the government forces opened fire on Mohammed Rahimi without prior warning, targeting him directly.

The source added that Rahimi succumbed to the severity of his injuries.

His body is currently being held at the forensic medical facility in the city of Paweh. Mohammad Rahimi was married and the father of one child.
