Kurdistan/Iran; civil activist released on bail after being detained arbitrarily for the second time

On Sunday, May 11, 2025, Nariman Randani, a civil activist from Saqqez, was temporarily released from detention after posting bail.


On Wednesday, April 8, 2025, Nariman Randani was arrested again at his workplace by security forces without any judicial warrant shortly after he was released.



This civil activist, who is dedicated in arts and music, was arrested by security forces on the evening of January 23, 2025, in connection with a general strike opposing the death penalty without any judicial warrant.


Eventually On Tuesday, February 26, 2025, Nariman Randani was released from Saqqez prison temporarily after posting bail of 600 million tomans after completing the interrogation process at the intelligence detention center in Sine (Sanandaj).
