Kurdistan: Death sentence for a Kurdish detainee convicted of drug trafficking has been implemented in Baneh

On the morning of Tuesday, April 15, 2025, the death sentence of a Kurdish prisoner named Yadgar Rahimnejad from Baneh was executed at Kerman Central Prison.


According to an informed source, the execution was carried out following the prisoner's final meeting with his family.


Yadgar Rahimnejad was arrested two years ago for drug trafficking and was subsequently sentenced to death by the judiciary of the Islamic republic of Iran.


Yadgar Rahimnejad, was married and had two children.


To date, the execution of this prisoner has not been published by official authorities or media outlets affiliated with the government or Iran.
