On Sunday, April 13, 2025, at the primary school "Ghalamchi" in the village of "Karjo" located within the jurisdiction of Sine (Sanandaj), a teacher brutally tortured and physically abused 13 male fifth-grade students due to the loss of his phone charger. This teacher also threatened the students, warning them that if they informed their families, they would face further abuse. Images obtained illustrate severe physical injuries on the bodies of several children.

According to an source cited by Kurdistan Human Rights Association in Geneva, the offending teacher, after realizing his phone charger is “missing” , assuming that the students may have something to do with it, beating the students and physical torture them in the classroom solely based on suspicion of their involvement, without any logical verification. The severity of the injuries sustained by the children has left bruises, wounds, and inflammation across their backs and shoulders.

Saladin Mofidi, the head of the Education Department of Sine (Sanandaj) second Region, has verbally assured the parents of the victims that action will be taken against the offending teacher and that the education department will defend the rights of children.

Meanwhile, according to the informed source, the families of these students have filed a complaint at the "Hasanawa (Hasanabad)" police station.
