On Wednesday, May 28, 2025, Mehran Fattahi, aged 27, resident of Baneh, was shot and injured by government forces along the Hengezhal border region in the city of Baneh.
According to an informed source, the Iranian border guards opened fire on Mr. Fattahi without any prior warning.
Due to the severity of his injuries, he has been transferred to a hospital in Tabriz for medical treatment.
